Official Track Record: Track Record broken by 16 year old Bret Holmes On May 11, 2013 with a 12.958, right behind Holmes on the same night, Tim Roszell for Poll Qualifying had a 12.959. Track Record was broken again for the second time in the 2012 Season by Jason Heitt in the Super Late Model Division from Oxford, AL On October 20, 2012 with a 13.056 beating out Dingus Griffin's record 13.085. Griffin from Alexandria, AL set a record on August 25, 2012 for the Super Late Models beating Shane Clanton 13.145 that was set on October 30, 2009. California’s Randy Hanagan set the single lap all time record with the WoO Sprint Cars with a 10.998- second lap on April 20th, 2001.
Interesting Stats: Averaged 123 cars during 2010 regular racing season. Ice Bowl event usually draws 300-400 cars every January.
Racing divisions: Kilpatrick Chevrolet Super Late Models, Sportsman, Crate Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Thunder 92.7 FM Thundercars, Dorseys Supermarket Hot Shots, and Farmer Insurance Street Stocks.
Season: Saturday nights, March thru October. Gates open at 4:00 p.m.; racing starts at 7:00 pm..
Rain-out policy:
- If all heat races have not been completed, rain checks will be honored at next week's race.
- If all heats and the Late Model time trials have been completed, it will constitute a full program, and rain checks will not be honored. However, double features in classes that have not been completed, will be run.
- No refunds.
