FAQ's

Rain-Out/Inclement Weather Policy:
There will be NO REFUNDS.
Talladega Short Track will make every effort possible to complete the program. Be sure to keep your tickets and/or armbands. Regular race nights will consist of qualifying heat races and feature events. The night's events will be considered a complete event if all Qualifying Heat Races are complete and Features are set. In the event of inclement weather after features are set, the event will be considered complete and makeup features will be ran and no tickets or armbands will be honored at future events.
If qualifying heats are not completed, and features are not set, tickets will be valid for use at the next three(3) events. Tickets will be honored at equal or lesser value, and may be applied to upgraded ticket prices at special events. You MUST have your ticket or armband for raincheck to be honored.
Special Event rainouts will be addressed on a case by case basis if necessary.

What should I expect if I am a first time visitor?
WELCOME and if this is your first time here are some tips to help make your trip exciting and comfortable: if you are bothered by loud noise, ear plugs/ear muffs might be handy to have with you; bleacher seating is available or bring your favorite folding/lawn chair(even though you might not need it because you will be up on your feet cheering your favorite driver!); a light jacket might be in order for cool fall nights as the cars will cause breezy conditions; an FM radio tuned to 99.9 FM will pick up all the PA broadcast so you can stay informed by the track announcer; safety glasses/goggles if you have sensitivity to dust and dirt in the air; money for the various vendors and concession visits; and come expecting to get hooked and become a life long fan!!

Are there Handicap Accessible Seats?
There are Handicap Accessible seats on the main grandstand with space for wheelchairs, and rails and easy access seating.

Are Concessions Available?
Concession stands are open at 3 locations – the main grandstands, back stretch grandstands, and outside pit area offering Coca-Cola products and a variety of hot food.

Are Coolers Allowed?
Coolers are allowed, we just require NO GLASS BOTTLES

Is Overnight camping allowed?
Camping is allowed in the Main Parking lot(Dry Camping with no hook-ups).
