Speed Shift TV Returning to Host Live Pay-Per-View of ICE BOWL at Talladega Short Track

Inside Line Promotions – MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (Dec. 31, 2018) – The 28th annual ICE BOWL hosted by Talladega Short Track is right around the corner and Speed Shift TV will provide live Pay-Per-View video coverage for the third consecutive year.

The bullring in Eastaboga, Ala., features a variety of divisions beginning with a practice day on Thursday, Jan. 3. The oval welcomes super late models in a $6,000-to-win feature along with Durrence Layne dirt late models, TST sportsman/limited late models, Durrence Layne street stocks, Durrence Layne late model sportsman, the Kajun Mini Stock Association, Durrence Layne modified sportsman, factory stock/street stock and hot shots/buzz during racing action from Jan. 4-6.

The action-packed event has landed a video on Speed Shift TV’s Top 25 Video Countdown of the Year each of the last two years, which is a testament to the quality of racing.

The gates open at 9 a.m. (local) on Jan. 3 for the practice day, which runs from noon until dusk. Heat races are expected to begin at 5 p.m. on Jan. 4 with hot laps set to start at 10 a.m. on Jan. 5. The finale on Jan. 6 is slated to kick off at noon.

Additionally, the ICE BOWL will be the first event featured on Speed Shift TV’s new subscription service. Subscription pricing is only $40 per month. The event can also be purchased on its own with the Jan. 4 date at $10, the Jan. 5 date at $20 and the finale at $22.
